The only team to have played at every football FIFA Would Cup finals since the tournament began is Brazil. Not surprisingly, they have also won the trophy more times than any other team.
Brazil hosted the finals in 2014 and started as favourites to win the trophy again in front of their own fans, after winning the Confederations cup in 2013. It wasn’t to be though as they were thumped by eventual winners Germany 7-1 in the semi-finals.
